Project Success
Project Success encourages young people to be self–motivated and confident, stressing the importance of a strong work ethic. The program's long–term goal is to create an educated workforce of well–rounded individuals that understand the importance of giving back.
Personal, hands–on involvement of 100 Black Men of Atlanta's membership differentiates Project Success from other youth development programs. Members typically provide academic and career guidance, get to know the students' family and friends, share cultural and recreational experiences, listen to their dreams and concerns, and assist with addressing concerns and making dreams come true.
Project Success delivers results – confident, skilled young adults who are ready and able to give back to their communities.
Our history has proven that families participating in the Project Success program can break this cycle of poor academic performance and economic dependence for themselves and their children. Our vision is that our programs will be replicated and implemented in communities throughout the United States. With your help we can continue to break the cycle of poverty while empowering generations of African-Americans globally.
The overall objectives of the Project Success Program follow:
- Enhance Academic Performance
- Provide Cultural Enrichment
- Enhance School Environment
