Atlanta Football Classic logo

The Atlanta Football Classic presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta is one of the nation's largest Black college football games pitting North Carolina A&T University Aggies against South Carolina State University Bulldogs on the gridiron. The event is also 100 Black Men of Atlanta's largest fundraiser for its mentoring, academic support and scholarship program, Project Success. But the Classic is far more than just a game between two fine Black colleges. Not only is this event an Atlanta tradition, it is the ULTIMATE HBCU EXPERIENCE!

Description: Boys to Men Male Empowerment Seminar on Thursday, October 2, 2014. The purpose of this program is to provide an atmosphere that will foster intellectual exchange by addressing the educational, emotional, life skills and aspirations of African-American males young and old. Additionally, the objective of this seminar is to establish communication and networking among our young African-American males and their older African- American male counter-parts that will foster an environment that is catered to establishing goals and initiatives that will provide a solution to the issues that our young African American men face. Description: This forum is centered on career exploration for college students to engage in dialogue with successful members of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta in various fields. Recruiters and students will have the ability to interface and talk about opportunities with representatives from our sponsors, Macy’s and Cox Enterprises. Macy's will also conduct an interactive seminar that provides interview-appropriate clothing and personalized confidence-building image services for students with style expert Fonzworth Bentley.  Come gain insight and engage in dialogue about; the experiences, successes and failures of minorities in their fields and give tips on how YOU can be better prepared in your pursuits.

The segments that we have selected are:  Business & Entrepreneurship, Philanthropy & Non-Profit Leadership, Engineering & Architecture, Legal, Medicine & Sciences.

Purpose: Celebrate and highlight 10 new Robotics Teams that were developed during the 100 Black Men of Atlanta's "Summer of Invention and Innovation." The event provided a platform for new students and coaches to be recognized and to solidify their commitment to math and science. Areas: FIRST Tech, FIRST Robotics, and VEX Challenge Program

Description: The ultimate tailgate party, this event will feature exhibits, games and entertainment for game attendees prior to kickoff. In the past, international recording artists have performed; food prepared by world–renowned chefs was made available.

Description: This year's Fair will be held in the Georgia Dome (Orange Lot) in conjunction with the Fan Experience. The Fan Experience attracts 12,000 in attendance. The Celebrate Health Celebrate Living Fair is an integral part of the Atlanta Football Classic action-packed week of events for our partners, clients, families, friends, and the Atlanta community to enjoy. The Fair is a community initiative designed to educate, inform, and motivate attendees to continue and/or adopt active, healthy, and productive lifestyles.

Description: The Parade of Excellence presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta will honor special achievements by the best and the brightest of our middle and high school students and give students an opportunity to celebrate their individual and collective efforts across all aspects of their education. College Fair

Description: The College Fair is a free event geared toward high school juniors and seniors interested in attending college.  Admissions and financial aid representatives from over 50 colleges and/or universities around the Southeast are on hand to answer your questions and provide important information on enrollment at their respective institutions.  Students are encouraged to bring copies of any test scores they may have (ACT, SAT, etc.) available. The Scholarship Academy will host 2-workshops 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Registration is requested.
